He/Him They/Them

Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my website and learn a little more about me and my art practice!

Art has been become more that just creating work and progressing my skills. It's become something, and somewhere I can explore the limits of my own personal comforts, boundaries, and experiences. Something that has brought me community, connection, and belonging.

It is my aim to use my art to help those around me to not only find comfort and connection but to explore the greater themes within my art like death, personhood, and queerness.

Here is a little of my story.

I was born in Vancouver, BC in 2005. I was raised across 3 provinces and 1 territory over the course of my childhood. Each new place helping to shape who I am today. But perhaps the greatest push I had towards the Arts was from my grandmother.

Since my Nana gave me my first watercolour paint palette at age 5, my journey through life has always been intertwined with art in some capacity.

In middle school it became clear that there wasn't much else I wanted to do but create art in some way as my career, but I still wasn't sure what kind of art. It wasn't until an art teacher friend pushed me to pursue an arts degree that I finally decided I was going to figure out how to make it into my career, no matter how hard it was going to be.

Since then I've had the privilege and opportunity to learn across 3 Canadian provinces, as well as have my art displayed in 2 of them.

After my degree is finished I have plans to seek out a tattoo apprenticeship so that I can learn to tattoo. The art of tattooing has always been an interest of mine and I admire artists abilities to help their clients create pieces to heal, remember and cherish.

Beyond my fine arts and future goals, I am the owner of Lunar Creations, my jewelry and oddities buissness. It is my dream that this buissness will be able to support me so that I am able to help give back to my community.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and helping me achieve my dream!
